What this lesson covers

Support and resistance and pattern structure are related but not the same thing, and this lesson separates them. Support is simply an area price has historically tended to reverse from, and the lesson follows a straightforward example: price drops, bounces, and that first significant level is established. When price returns to it the probability of another bounce is what makes the level tradable. Pattern structure is a different read, based on the shape price is drawing rather than the level it is at. The lesson shows where the two agree, which is where the strongest opportunities appear, and where they conflict, which is where traders lose money by acting on one while ignoring the other. Knowing which read is leading is the practical takeaway.
