What this lesson covers
Before the banker block 2.0 can be applied, this lesson sets out the characteristics of the traditional version precisely. A traditional banker block is a break of structure carrying momentum, followed by a pullback that produces a pattern or equal highs, followed by the move away. There is also the case where the break of structure was itself caused by the banker block, which is the version most commonly traded. The lesson works through the common characteristics that identify each on a chart, so that the 2.0 refinement is applied to correctly identified blocks rather than to anything that vaguely resembles one. Getting the traditional identification exact is what makes the advanced version reliable.
