What this lesson covers
This lesson covers the rules for patterns and trend lines, and it opens by acknowledging that anyone still working through the material at this stage has already demonstrated the commitment the method requires. The purpose of the lesson is the edge itself. Patterns are the most important element of the BLT approach, because the edge comes from reading them correctly rather than from any individual level. The lesson sets out the rules that govern how patterns are identified and how trend lines are drawn within them, since two traders drawing the same pattern differently will reach different conclusions from the same chart. Precision here determines the quality of every level derived from it further down the process.
