What this lesson covers

Patterns are the foundation of the BLT method, and this lesson explains what happens when one is drawn incorrectly. Get the pattern wrong and the smart money level is wrong, the banker block is wrong, the imbalance is wrong, and you end up trading the low probability version of all of them. Because patterns evolve as price develops, there is a technique for updating a pattern into its most recent valid form rather than holding on to the one you drew first. The lesson works through the common cases, including patterns that are too steep and patterns that have flattened, and shows how and when each should be redrawn as the market changes shape.
