What this lesson covers

This lesson covers compressions and channels and where within them a trade is worth taking. The distinction it draws is between trading at a genuine point of interest and trading in the middle of the pattern, which is where most losses occur. Using a specific channel as the example, it identifies the two aspects that make buying into it a low probability decision, principally that price continuing in the channel from that point is extremely unlikely given where it currently sits. The lesson makes the case with the chart rather than by assertion, and the takeaway is a filter you can apply immediately: a beautiful compression is only tradable from the right part of it.
