What this lesson covers
This lesson works through hedging using a real trade, one the presenter could not hedge to its full potential because he was in the middle of a live stream at the time. That honesty makes it a better example than a prepared one. The analysis is built up first, with the one two three counts marked at several levels and a pattern present, and then the lesson shows where a hedge would have been placed and what it would have achieved. Several practical techniques are covered along the way. Hedging is a tool that is easy to use badly, so the lesson focuses on the specific situations that justify it rather than presenting it as a general solution.
