What this lesson covers
Cherry picking is the first practice stage once you have worked through the BLT material, and this lesson explains how to do it. The exercise is to look back across a chart, identify where the market reversed, determine whether each was a buy or a sell, and then work out how the setup could have been caught with the rules you have learned. It is done with hindsight deliberately, because at this stage the objective is recognition rather than prediction: you are training yourself to see where the method applies. The lesson works through examples and explains how to progress from cherry picking to proper backtesting once the setups start to appear without effort.
