What this lesson covers
Before session based trading can work, you have to be certain about when each session actually opens in your own time, and this lesson deals with that first. Everything is referenced to UTC, which matches TradingView and London during standard time, and the lesson shows how to verify the opening times with an indicator rather than assuming them. Getting this wrong by an hour, which is easy to do around the daylight saving changes, invalidates every session based observation you make. Once the times are confirmed the lesson moves into the session breakouts themselves and the manipulation that tends to occur around the Asian, London and New York opens.
