What this lesson covers
With the sessions understood, this lesson adds the previous day's high and low as a further filter. Both are marked on the chart, and the lesson is explicit that this is a probability improver rather than a mandatory rule. The example works within the Asian session, showing how the previous daily levels interact with the session range and where the liquidation of the old session's levels tends to occur. Understanding that price frequently returns to take out the previous day's extremes before doing anything else explains a great deal of the movement that otherwise looks random, and it gives you a reason to wait rather than acting on the first move of the session.
