What this lesson covers
This lesson defines the bank level, one of the specific structures the BLT method trades. Unlike a break of structure formed by a series of candles, a bank level comes from a single candlestick that breaks the level on its own. The level itself is confirmed once there is a failed retest of that candle's previous high when you are looking to buy, or its previous low when you are looking to sell. The lesson works through the formation on the chart, shows exactly which part of the candle is being marked, and explains why the failed retest is the crucial detail rather than the break. Getting this precise matters, because a bank level drawn from the wrong candle produces a level the market has no reason to respect.
