What this lesson covers

Equal highs and equal lows look like a double top or double bottom to most traders, and this lesson explains why the BLT method reads them completely differently. Retail traders see a double top and sell it, and at times that works. What the level actually represents is liquidity, a cluster of stop orders resting just beyond it, placed there by everybody who took that trade. Knowing that changes how you use the level. Rather than selling the second touch, you can buy the move into it and take profit just above the equal highs, where those orders sit. The lesson works through the example on the chart and shows how identifying the liquidity rather than the pattern puts you on the profitable side of the same move.
