These case studies follow the dollar against the yen across two days in October, a period that produced three reasonable trades. The lesson is as instructive about where the levels are not as where they are. A bank level exists on the one hour chart to the left of the move but is effectively hidden at that resolution, and finding it requires dropping to smaller timeframes. Several other areas that look promising contain no valid bank level at all. Working through each in turn shows the discipline the method requires: marking only what meets the definition, checking lower timeframes where the structure is compressed, and passing on areas that look like opportunities but do not qualify. That restraint is what keeps the win rate up.
