What this lesson covers
This lesson works through slingshot case studies, starting by rebuilding a simple boomerang so the comparison is clear. Structure breaks, leaving two significant areas on the chart, the high and the current low, and the lesson asks what is likely to happen from there. A major pullback develops within that range, new highs form, structure breaks again, and the sequence repeats. Following it step by step shows where a slingshot appears within the same shape and what distinguishes it from the boomerang that precedes it. Working from the basic pattern outward is deliberate, because the slingshot is easier to recognise once you can see the structure it grows out of rather than treating it as a separate formation.
