What this lesson covers
The slingshot has a second use beyond being a setup in its own right, and this lesson covers it: using the slingshot to manage stop loss placement. Working from a banker block with an expectation of a rally, the lesson shows how the move may trigger a slingshot entry and how that changes where risk can sensibly be placed. As always with a slingshot, confirmation has to come first, and the lesson is specific about what confirmation means here. The advantage is a stop that sits behind genuine structure rather than at an arbitrary distance, which usually means a tighter stop and a better ratio on the same trade. It is a technique worth understanding even if the slingshot is not your main entry.
