What this lesson covers
This live session breaks down the dollar index from a completely clean chart, which makes it a useful demonstration of the full process. The analysis starts on the higher timeframes to establish perspective, checking the monthly for channels and any larger structure worth knowing about, then works down. When it comes to actually finding trades the presenter is specific about his own approach: strictly the one hour and fifteen minute charts, with the one minute used for the entry itself. Watching the top down read performed live, including the parts where nothing useful is found, shows how much of the process is elimination. It is a good example of how context from above narrows what qualifies below.
