What this lesson covers
This live session works through a flag that has been taken out, with what looks like a clean and obvious breakout. It then goes back to show why the fine details matter so much in the BLT method, because what appears to be a break of the trend line on first inspection turns out to be a wick rather than a genuine break. The distinction is small on the chart and large in its consequences, since acting on the first version puts you on the wrong side of the move that follows. The session is a good illustration of how much of the method comes down to precise reading of individual candles rather than to recognising shapes at a glance.
