What this lesson covers
This lesson takes you through a first trade from start to finish, on a demo or funded account, so that the first time you do it for real nothing is unfamiliar. It works in order: choosing a pair to trade and understanding why, deciding whether the setup is a buy or a sell, and sizing the position so that the loss you have accepted is the loss you actually take. Stop loss and take profit levels are set before entry rather than after. Beyond the mechanics, the lesson deals with the part traders rarely admit to, which is the hesitation that arrives just before the button is pressed. It offers a simple pre trade routine that turns an anxious decision into a repeatable process.
