What this lesson covers

Support and resistance are the areas where price has previously struggled to continue, and they remain the most useful marks a trader can put on a chart. This lesson shows how to draw them accurately, which usually means fewer lines than beginners expect and zones rather than exact prices. It then builds market structure around them: higher highs and higher lows, lower highs and lower lows, the swings between them, and what a genuine break of structure looks like against one that fails. From there it covers how to spot the areas price is most likely to react to before it gets there, and how structure combines with patterns and indicators instead of competing with them. Structure becomes the foundation for entries, exits and where risk belongs.
