What this lesson covers

A journal is not a diary of results. It is a feedback system that turns a series of trades into information you can act on. This lesson covers what to record after each trade without making the process so heavy that it gets abandoned: the setup, the reason for entry, where risk was placed, the outcome, and how you felt while it was open. It then covers the part most traders skip, which is reading the journal back. Grouping trades by setup, by session and by state of mind reveals which parts of your system make money and which parts only feel productive. Regular review is how professional and funded traders find the small consistent changes that improve results more than a new strategy ever does.
