What this lesson covers
This lesson connects money management to the psychology that surrounds it, because the two fail together. It begins with the mechanics of locating a trade and defining the entry area, treating the entry as a zone with a boundary rather than a single price. From there it works through what needs to be accounted for before a position is opened: where the risk sits, what the trade costs if it is wrong, and how the size follows from those answers rather than from how confident the setup feels. The psychological side runs alongside, since the pressure to move a stop or add to a losing position comes from the size chosen before entry. Managed properly, position sizing removes most of the emotion before it has a chance to appear.
