What this lesson covers
This lesson deals with an exception concerning the direction of the market, one that occurs regularly enough to be worth preparing for even though it is not an everyday event. Daniel acknowledges directly that the number of exceptions can feel like a lot at this stage, and reminds you that this is still the basics and that the strategy remains mechanical underneath them. He then works through the situation on the chart, showing what the market is doing, why the standard read produces an answer that looks wrong, and what the correct response is within level one.
