Plan B is introduced here, and the lesson starts with why it exists rather than how it works. By this stage you have traded the classic entry and the risky entry, and you have seen what they produce: runs of consecutive losses alongside occasional very large profits. That distribution is mathematically sound and psychologically difficult, because traders want to be right and a strategy that is often wrong while remaining profitable fights that instinct constantly. Plan B was created with that in mind. Daniel explains the reasoning before the mechanics, because a technique adopted without understanding the problem it solves tends to be abandoned during the first stretch where it does not immediately help.
