What this lesson covers
This example covers the Swiss franc against the yen, reference 0023, and it is chosen to teach patience. The pair moves extremely slowly, to the point of being genuinely testing to hold a position in, and Daniel does not pretend otherwise. That slowness is the lesson. A trade that takes a long time to reach its target creates far more opportunities to interfere than a fast one does, and most traders exit early simply because nothing is happening. Working through the trade shows what the structure was doing throughout, why the position remained valid, and how to sit with a position that is correct and inactive without treating the absence of movement as a reason to close it.
