What this lesson covers

This exercise covers a trade where the analysis pointed one way and the market went the other. Working on the euro against the Australian dollar on the daily chart, the setup was expected to go long and ended up short, and every option is applied to it: the classic, the risky, plan B and plan C together. Examining a trade that did not work while applying the full method is more instructive than examining one that did, because it shows what each part of the approach does when the initial read is wrong. That is the situation the layered structure was built for, and this lesson is where its purpose becomes concrete rather than theoretical.
