What this lesson covers
Having found the reason you trade, this lesson turns it into something you can read back. A trading mission statement is a short written commitment covering why you trade, what you intend to achieve and the standards you hold yourself to while you do it. The lesson explains why this matters more than it sounds. Motivation is unreliable and tends to disappear at exactly the moment it is needed, after a losing run or a failed evaluation, and a written statement is what remains when it does. You are guided through drafting your own, with prompts to make it specific rather than aspirational and short enough to be genuinely useful. It is set as homework because writing it yourself is the whole exercise.
